String Cheese Incident – “Land’s End” live in Austin 1998

default String Cheese Incident Lands End live in Austin 1998

1998 String Cheese Incident performs “Land’s End” live on Nov. 21st, 1998 at (the now gone) Liberty Lunch in Austin, TX. This was the opening song for the second night of a two-night run. First set opened with ‘Land’s End’ and the second set ended with a “Little Hands” segueing into a “Land’s End” reprise. What a great Saturday night – The wheel made a complete rotation. Set 1: Land’s End, Late in the Evening, 100 Year Flood – Jam – Resume Man, Remington Ride, Miss Brown’s Teahouse – Pirates – Round the Wheel Set 2: Bigger Isn’t Better – On the Road, Parker’s Blues, John Hardy, Lonesome Fiddle Blues, Little Hands – Land’s End Encore: Smile, So What* – Drums* – Lonesome Road Blues* * with Keller Williams on guitar and vocals and John Treanor (Austin’s Guy Forsyth Band) on the washboard This footage was shot using old, analog 8mm video media, so it’s a bit low-res. The audio is ok. A funny thing – when I got the tape out, it still smelled like the show, in the KIND way! Note: I cut the 3-minute intro of this song, because it would’ve exceded YouTube’s 10-minute rule. Basically the cut footage was of the band entering the stage, some hoola hooping, and about a 30-second spacey build-up. Sorry, but hope You Enjoy Myself anyway! Peace out, (~);} Check out SCI online at: www.stringcheeseincident.com
