Q&A: Is it okay to send out resumes as a feeler for a new city?
Question by operaphantom2003: Is it okay to send out resumes as a feeler for a new city?
I will be moving in 5 months but am undecided between three cities. It is going to come down to job prospects and pay. Is it okay to send out resumes as feelers? Should I state in my cover letter that I will be moving in 5 months or should I omit that information?

i would put that info in there. because idf you dont you might score an awesome job and by ommitting this information, it might disqualify you from ever getting teh job when you actually move there. GOOD IDEA.

I would put that info in there because many companies do not want to relocate new hirees. It will show that you already plan to move there and you are funding your own move.
