Do recruiters forward cover letters along with resumes to their clients?

Question by parkdad73: Do recruiters forward cover letters along with resumes to their clients?
Since the economy is dead in Michigan, I have been searching for jobs out of state. Most of the jobs I apply for are through recruiters and I note that I am willing to relocate in the cover letter but I never get calls on jobs that I are idenical to what I used to do. I am just wondering if the people who get my resume think I am not willing to relocate at my own expense because they don’t get the cover letters.
About 6 years ago I used a recruiter to find an employee and I can’t remember if I also saw cover letters too.

You might not be getting the job because you are selling yourself short. Recruiters are there to work for YOU. Know what they are presenting in your behalf. Make your-self invaluable. An employer will go to great lengths for the right employee. Ask for travel expenses, cost of living costs, and reimbursement or bonus for any additional costs to you for relocating. Make them think they NEED you. This is especially the attitude to take with the recruiter.
